BT Business One Plan Inclusive - what's the catch?
BT is a marketing machine and they often make very attractive offer's irresistible, however, you have to be very careful about the pitfalls of their cleverly written terms and conditions.
At Adodo we endeavour to keep things simple, we have been in the industry for sixteen years and know that there can be a lot of confusion associated with it. Using our experience as dedicated consultants, we can find the best deal for you and guide you through the potential pitfalls in your contract.
For example:
"From as little as £15 per month you can expect to get a BT Business Phone Line with 500 free minutes to UK landlines and a month's free line rental"
However;
You will be tied into a 24month contract
You must be a new BT customer
You must make at least one chargeable call on that line per month
You must reach your committed spend in a 12 month period otherwise reconciliation fees are applied
"If you order a 24 month contract you can add our unlimited calling package to your BT Business Phone Line."
However;
Calls must not exceed 60mins. (If they do you will be charged at a basic BT rate, and remember BT round up all calls to the nearest minute)
Applies to calls to the 4 main Mobile Operators only
It will cost you an extra £22.50 per month
The unlimited calls package has a fair usage policy of:
5000 minutes of landline and International calls per month (combined)
300 landline to mobile calls per month
As this policy is applied on a per line basis, the free element does not accumulate across different channels of ISDN30, ISDN2 or analogue lines.
"If you now take a phone line and broadband together with BT One Plan Plus, you can add the unlimited minutes calling package for only £15 per month."
However;
Annual minimum spend of £500 plus and reconciliation fees apply
You also have to take at least one other BT service to qualify for the offer (normally broadband).
You have a thirty day window to cease the agreement before the end of the initial two year period. Miss this, and you automatically end up in a further two year period. This isn't flexible enough for most of the businesses we deal with.
You must make at least one chargeable call on that line per month. If you do not make at least one chargeable call, BT's published (very high) call rates apply, complete with connection charges.
For the right company, this is a good deal. At Adodo we do not believe in hidden costs or extras, or long term constrictive contracts. Wedo believe in getting the right deal for your business. For a non-obligation chat with one of our representatives call us today 0800 092 1471 or email
