BT is still the dominant player in the UK telephone lines market. Because of this, and in order to create a level playing field, Openreach was launched in January 2006 to provide installation and maintenance services on behalf of all the UK's Communications Providers. They are responsible for the ‘first mile' of the national access network - the place where millions of calls, web searches and business deals are started each day. Openreach services, supports and maintains the wiring, fibres and connections which link millions of homes and businesses in Great Britain to Communications Providers' networks. Therefore Adodo is able to offer the same level of maintenance and service options as BT Retail but at lower costs. In addition, due to our flexibility, you'll find our customer service much easier to deal with. Ofcom has also made Local Loop Unbundling (LLU) a key element of the proposals within its Strategic Review of Telecommunications in 2005, creating a level playing field. Through a series of price cuts and a regulated structure designed to give service providers comfort that they are being fairly treated, LLU is now a viable proposition. This means that there will be a growing number of other options to provide line services. SIP trunks are such an alternative. Adodo Line Benefits: - Savings of up to 15%
- Audit to ensure the lines you are paying for are actually required
