Calls are generally made through a process called Carrier Pre Selection (CPS). This is an indirect voice service that enables the routing of calls via a carrier other than BT, without the need for any equipment on site or the programming of your telephone system.  Through a range of tier one UK carriers Adodo can offer CPS. We place an order with BT and their engineers reprogram at your local exchange.   

It is also possible to have your phone system physically programmed to reroute calls over an alternative network.  This is known as least cost routing (LCR) and generally requires the involvement of your phone system maintainer.
