TYPES OF SERVICE
Numbers Because we put together service delivery with a number, the possibilities created are endless. If you have the business idea, the likelihood is that Adodo can make it happen. A complete range of numbers is offered as part of our PRS portfolio. 0905 - 0906 Non-Adult Numbers. Non-adult numbers are delivered live as a recorded message, or over the Internet. They can be used for applications like technical support lines. 0909 Adult Numbers. Adult numbers allow adult content to be delivered live, recorded, by bureau, or over the Internet. 0907 Pay for Product. This relatively new application means that the caller must remain on the line long enough for the cost of the call to cover the cost of the product, whether themed merchandise or concert tickets. The call value is restricted to a maximum of £20. When the required amount of time has been spent on the line, the product is despatched.
Content used during the time the caller spends on the phone can be delivered live, recorded or over the Internet. The product itself can take the form of a magazine, CD, video or Internet download.
Service Delivery Each service offered by Adodo is created as a bespoke solution. We begin the process by matching your requirements and the functionality you need to the correct product. The chosen product is then married up with a phone number at the appropriate tariff. The service is set up with minimum fuss so you can benefit from the revenue generated.
The following types of service delivery are available:
Voice. This service enables the caller to talk directly to an operator employed by the service provider. Typically, the operator will add value for the customer by offering information, answering queries or listening to their concerns. Services that suit a live voice-based solution include helpdesk support, counselling and professional services.
An interactive platform could be used to allow the customer to select options and hear information that is relevant to their needs. This technology can be activated either by the sound of the customer’s voice, or by a touch-tone phone. An example of this technology in practice is a mobile phone user accessing recorded content.
Third Party Bureau’s. Third party bureau’s are specialist content providers who operate from a call centre or a number of operators working remotely from home.
Internet Dialler. Internet Dialler software allows premium rate content to be delivered over the Internet. A customer interested in a web site offering material at a premium rate will have the option to click to view. The software is then activated and the caller’s computer will reconnect to the Internet on a premium rate number. This is essentially used as an alternate payment mechanism or for micro-payments, rather than using a credit card. It provides added security and reduces exposure to fraud. Examples of this include paying for content, streaming and making donations.
Adodo offers diallers that operate both within the UK and on an international basis from any computer. A practical example would be a user surfing the Internet with a click on button for premium rate content.
